What OCR does
Optical character recognition reads visible text from an uploaded page. Paper Maker uses the extracted structure to prepare editable questions, options and mathematical expressions. OCR is a starting point, not an automatic guarantee of accuracy.
How to get a cleaner scan
Photograph the page in even light, keep all four corners visible and avoid shadows across equations. A straight, high-resolution image gives the recogniser more reliable character shapes.
- Use one page per image when possible.
- Check subscripts, powers, fractions and chemical charges.
- Compare every answer option with the original page before saving.
Teacher review stays essential
Names, Gujarati conjunct characters and compact scientific notation can be difficult for any OCR system. Paper Maker therefore keeps the extracted content editable and expects the teacher to approve it before reuse.
