Terms of Service
These Terms of Service govern your access to and use of the Paper Maker website, software, and mobile applications operated by AksharX. By creating an account, purchasing a plan, or using the Service, you agree to these Terms.
1. Eligibility and Account Responsibility
- You must be legally able to enter into a binding contract to use the Service.
- You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account and for keeping your login credentials secure.
- You must provide accurate account, billing, and institute information and keep it reasonably up to date.
2. Limited License
Subject to these Terms, AksharX grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the Service for your own lawful educational, coaching, school, institute, or internal business purposes.
This license does not transfer any ownership rights. Paper Maker, its logo, design, content structure, interface, software code, and related branding remain the intellectual property of AksharX or its licensors.
3. Prohibited Conduct
- Copying, reselling, sublicensing, reverse engineering, scraping, or commercially exploiting the Service except as expressly permitted.
- Uploading unlawful, infringing, malicious, or deceptive content.
- Attempting to bypass authentication, billing limits, security controls, or rate limits.
- Using the Service to violate examination rules, privacy rights, intellectual-property rights, or applicable law.
4. Subscriptions, Renewals, and Billing
- Paid features are available through subscription plans shown on the pricing page at the time of purchase.
- Trial access, plan limits, billing cycle, renewal date, and usage limits are displayed inside the app and may vary by plan.
- Payments are processed through Razorpay or other approved payment partners. Full card or UPI credentials are not stored on our servers.
- Unless a separate written offer states otherwise, fees are non-refundable except where required by applicable law. See our Cancellation and Refund Policy.
- If a payment is reversed, disputed, or fails, we may suspend or limit paid access until the billing issue is resolved.
5. User Content
You retain ownership of the papers, questions, uploads, and institute data you submit to the Service. You grant AksharXa limited right to host, process, transmit, back up, and display that content only as necessary to operate, secure, improve, and support the Service.
6. Privacy and Security
Our collection and use of personal data are governed by the Privacy Policy. We implement reasonable technical and organisational safeguards, but no online system can guarantee absolute security. You must also take reasonable steps to protect your own devices, passwords, and institute data.
7. Availability and Service Changes
- We may modify, improve, suspend, or discontinue features when reasonably necessary for security, maintenance, compliance, or product changes.
- We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability or error-free operation.
- We may add, remove, or adjust plan features, provided active paid subscriptions are handled in a commercially reasonable manner.
8. Termination
- You may stop using the Service at any time and may request account deletion through Data Deletion.
- We may suspend or terminate access if you materially violate these Terms, create legal risk, abuse the Service, or threaten platform security.
- Sections concerning intellectual property, payment obligations, disclaimers, limitation of liability, and governing law survive termination.
9. Disclaimer and Limitation of Liability
The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis to the maximum extent permitted by law. To the extent permitted by applicable law,AksharX is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for loss of data, revenue, profits, goodwill, or business opportunity arising from use of the Service.
10. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Subject to applicable consumer law, courts located in Gujarat, India shall have exclusive jurisdiction over disputes arising from or relating to these Terms or the Service.
