Prepare the page
Flatten folded paper and remove objects that cast shadows. Use diffuse light, hold the camera parallel to the sheet and keep the text large enough to inspect when zoomed. Avoid messaging-app compression when the original image is available.
Recognise high-risk content
Subscripts, superscripts, fraction bars, Gujarati conjuncts and closely spaced answer options deserve extra attention. A recogniser can produce readable text that is still scientifically wrong—for example, by losing a negative charge.
- Compare equations character by character.
- Check every option label and its order.
- Confirm page headings were not mistaken for questions.
- Reattach diagrams to the correct question.
Edit before saving
Correct the extracted text while the original scan is still open. Add the subject, chapter and topic from the approved taxonomy, then verify the answer independently. Saving first and planning to review later usually creates an unmanageable queue.
Protect uploaded material
